Comforting Beef Stew with a hint of Smoky BBQ

Yes, we know, it's just that easy!


Diced beef

1 Brown onion

2 Garlic cloves


Half a bag of carrots

3 stalks of celery

Tomato purée

Beef stock

1 glass of red wine


Mash potatoes


  1. Add a dash of olive oil to a deep frying pan or crock pot and turn the heat high
  2. Once the oil is hot, fry beef chunks until browned on the outside
  3. Lower the heat and add sliced onion, followed by 2 diced garlic cloves
  4. FLAVA IT, with our Smoky BBQ spice packet. Stir until fragrant
  5. Add halved carrots, sliced celery, a dollop of tomato puree, salt, pepper, beef stock, a medium glass of red wine and a sprinkle of thyme
  6. Cover and cook on a low heat for 3 hours
  7. Remove the meat and vegetables from the heat. Then increase to a medium heat, add a hefty tablespoon of spoon of butter and stir the sauce until thickened. 7. Place the veg and meat back in the sauce 8. Heat the mash and place alongside this delicious classic beef stew, with a hint of smoky BBQ!
