| flava-it™ is made in South Manchester by the MRC - The Flava People. We are a privately owned business, who make not only flava-it™, but also a wide range of marinades, glazes, coaters and sauces supplied to butchers, retailers and the food processing industry. |

| Our road to success started with the Northwest Food Awards, where we won the 'Preserving the Environment' category. | |
| Next was National Energy Efficiency Awards covered by the Independent Newspaper for companies demonstrating nationally the best practice for energy and environment conservation. We won the category beating off 150 entries from companies nationwide. | |
| Thirdly were the Northwest Business Environment Awards for the company demonstrating best environmental practice. | |
| We were also nominated finalists at the Manufacturer Live Awards where we were narrowly beaten. | |
| However on the same evening as the Manufacturer Live Awards, we did pick up the Manufacturing Institute Award for best improvement in manufacturing practices. | |
| We finished 2007 by picking up the coveted Food Manufacturer Excellence Award for the Ambient and General Groceries category. | |
| In April 2009 we have been doubly acclaimed as overall category winner of the European Business Environmental Awareness Award and as a recipient of the Ruban D'Honneur for Customer Focus. |
